This mead is patiently fermented with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger, and then aged in oak. All in all, a two-year process. Great served either over ice or warmed, this mead is the granddaddy of mulled wines.
Medium. ABV 13.7%, 70cl, stopper cork sealed in wax.
NOTE: We use a weak sulphite solution when cleaning/sterilising our bottles and this may leave a trace of sulphites in the mead. Fermentation can also generate sulphites naturally. Therefore, anyone likely to haven allergic reaction to sulphites should proceed with caution.
SERVE CHILLED & STORE UPRIGHT IN A COOL PLACE. ALSO WONDERFUL SERVED WARM.
